Woodie Flowers Award Woodie Flowers Award celebrates effective communication in the art and science of engineering and design. WFA recognizes an outstanding job of motivation through communication while also challenging the students to be clear and succinct in their communications.
The Woodie Flowers award is presented to a mentor who fits this criteria. Each team is able to nominate one mentor each year; this year Ferradermis chose Dilpreet Randhawa. Dilpreet is a student at UW-Madison and has been in FIRST for 11 years since he was in middle school, participating in FLL and FRC and mentoring FLL and FRC.
